It is with great regret that I have to announce that the Residential Summer Russian School has had to close after being in existence for several decades.

We previously hired teaching rooms for the school from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of East Anglia. Because of reorganization there we now have to deal directly with the Conference Office, which effectively would mean a quadrupling of prices. This would make it unaffordable for all but the wealthiest students.

I would like to thank everybody who has supported the course, in particular those who have attended it loyally year after year, and have contributed to its fun and laughter, its richness of character and joy in all things Russian.
